As Half-handed Cloud, John Ringhofer has always eschewed convention, and his new EP breaks further away from it than ever before. Self-released as part of his "Homemade" series, Foiled EP N°1 is an eleven-minute continuous sound collage cobbled from stray bits of Half-handed Cloud's recordings made over the last eight or so years. Its ten tracks are scattershot, but intentionally so, and the lyrics, pulled from the Pauline letters, have Ringhofer's weirdly unadorned touch. "The Road I Took For Granite" narrates the Apostle's Damascus-road conversion from Acts in typically charming, boilerplate fashion. Check it out below.
