The Soil & the Sun drop new double single; watch the video for "Throughout the Night"

Mystical folk-rock outfit The Soil & the Sun have been silent since 2014's unqualified masterpiece Meridian, but today the Grand Rapids band shared Actual Replica, Vol. 1, featuring two brand new tracks. Both songs were recorded by Rick Fritz, the savant behind Meridian's opulent production, and push in the increasingly synthetic direction that record charted. The video for "Together Through the Night" (with Timbre Cierpke on backing vocals), which seems to have been created by ruining VHS copies of Carl Sagan's Cosmos, is below, and you can check out the other the other track, "As I Was One Day" on Bandcamp
