mewithoutYou's video for "Red Cow & Dorothy" is absolutely beautiful

The first music video from mewithoutYou's stellar Pale Horses (review here) premiered on Pitchfork last week, and it is lovely. Daniel Davison directed the video, and there's a lot to love for ardent fans: Aaron Weiss and his wife hop a freight train, sing Sacred Harp, and a photo of Aaron's dad shows up a couple times, and "Dorothy" is shot in a mesmerizing single-take with the whole band in an old building in Philly. And there's a mind-bending transition between the two songs thanks to some mirrors and a movable backdrop.

Watch "Red Cow & Dorothy" below, and if you like it check out this in-depth breakdown Davison has posted of the video's creation.
