Timbre collaborated with an aerial dance troupe for her new video

Timbre Cierpke's massive double album Sun & Moon is not only one of the year's most unique releases, but it seems to be accumulating quite a cult following (it's in the top 50 of the year over on the Rate Your Music charts). Now Timbre is following up her "Song of the Sun" video with another in collaboration with Nashville's FALL, who tumble and glide around the harpist as she performs "Night Girl: Nycteris Sees the Sun" on a gloomily lit dance floor. Sun and Moon takes its structure and characters from the wonderful George MacDonald fable The Day Boy and the Night Girl, and in this piece Timbre plays the frail Nycteris' as she encounters the sun after a lifetime of underground imprisonment: "If I burn, I'll burn". Watch the video below, and look for a full review of Sun & Moon here sometime soon.
